Our Year 4 children in Willow and Sycamore class are having weekly music lessons with the North Yorkshire music service , learning how to play the flute, clarinet or trumpet. They are enjoying learning to play with others and develop their skills when reading rhythms and written music.

Music demonstration assembly

We were delighted to watch an assembly carried out by the music service in North Yorkshire, in which a variety of musical instruments were played. The children had the opportunity to listen to the different instruments, find out how they were played and which orchestral group they belonged to. If your child is interested in learning a musical instrument from September please get in touch.
